Learning Event Policies
Participants MUST attend 100% of the program to earn the CEUs approved. Check the webpage for each program to determine which professions are approved for continuing education credits. In general, we offer credit for licensed social workers, mental health counselors, and marriage & family therapists.
After completion of the course, eligible participants who paid for CEUs will be provided access to an online coures or workshop evaluation. Upon completion of the evaluation, participants will be able to download their CEU certificate. Information to access the evaluation will be provided via email within three days of the event ending. Participants will be required to sign in and out for attendance taking purposes at live events. Attendance will be monitored in live and online settings. In Zoom meetings, attendance is monitored electronically. Keeping your camera on is a requirement for earning CEUs at events that are live on Zoom unless you make arrangements ahead of time due to extreme circumstances. Your full and complete attention and presence is required to enhance the learning milieu for everyone as well as to meet CEU requirements. CEU approvals for mental health counselors are authorized by our NBCC providership. Details about CEUs are available here.
Enrollment will typically be limited from 15 to 120 people in workshops, depending on the event and venue. Course enrollment limits will be advertised accordingly.
Payment options include online registration with payment using PayPal as a conduit to your credit card or a PayPal account. You may also register online and mail a check for payment with a note indicating what program the payment is for. If you are mailing payment, please note that your space is not reserved until we receive it.

Grievance policy: Submit a written complaint to liz@therapytrainingboston.com or mail to 203 Arlington Street, Watertown MA 02472. If the complaint cannot be resolved by Liz Brenner, she will consult with another faculty member to resolve the problem. Therapy Training Boston (TTB) is fully committed to conducting all activities in strict conformance with the standards and ethics of all disciplines for which we provide continuing education. We are an approved provider for the National Board for Certified Counselors. Through co-sponsorship arrangements listed in detail on every event page we seek approval to provide continuing education for social workers and marriage & family therapists in addition to mental health counselors.
TTB will comply with all legal and ethical responsibilities to be non-discriminatory in promotional activities, program content and in the treatment of program participants. The monitoring and assessment of compliance with these standards is the responsibility of the Director of TTB. While we work hard to assure fair treatment for all participants and attempt to anticipate problems, there will be occasional issues which come to our attention which require intervention and/or action. When a participant, in written format, files a grievance and expects action on the complaint, the Director of TTB will take action to address the concern. Our practice is to respond to a grievance filed within 72 hours and develop a unique, relevant response to each complaint within 30 days. If the grievance is a concern that the Director cannot be resolve for any reason, a member of the faculty in our Intensive Program will be assigned to address the grievance. This faculty member or advisor will resolve the grievance with complainant if this is necessary and/or appropriate given the circumstances. TTB is committed to communicating ethically and fairly with complainants.
